Oh and I do not want anyone from the Spurs to be our coach. The Spurs are the most bland and boring team in the NBA. I do not know if I could bear watching this team if they made Monta and Steph play that boring a** style.

I guess winning means nothing to them.

watching Monta chuck a million mind-boggling shots IS pretty entertaining, if you’re not into championships

I wonder what brought on the change of heart?

My personal theory that has no backing? Maybe we got Messina.

There’s some speculation that Messina is headed to Lakerland.

Isn’t Don Newman also be considered for a spot elsewhere? It seems he and Brett Brown have been assistants for some time. I’d think that if they don’t bring in Messina they might look towards bringing in some other outside assistant with the prospect that he’d succeed Pop. Might also be an announcer (Sean Elliot?) or a WNBA coach (Dan Hughes?). Seems in recent years there have been a number of former NBA coaches who started coaching in the WNBA and then moved into NBA assistant positions.
