So was it the injuries?

So last week we were in the midst of our Duncan era record losing streak.  The Lakers were being touted as the eventual winners of home court advantage in the west.  We slipped to sixth on ESPN's power rankings (they have been looking for an excuse to drop us for months).

Now that we have the top seed in the west locked up and the Lakers and Mavs are dropping games like rabbits drop deuces I'm left with a question.  Was it all about the injuries?  We did have our battle tested veteran core all out with injury during the skid.  We also witnessed some pretty shat shooting from our long range bombers.   I am not sure which factor plays a bigger role in our success/failure presence of ALL 3 of the big three or the shooting of the reserves.  What do you guys think?

Side note:  What worse us losing missing our best players or the Lakers unexplained losing while they have all of their keys players?  I think we are blessed to at least know our flaws heading into the playoffs!
