Hey, PtR, I'm a random lurker/troll who has visited several times over the years. Now that the Spurs dynasty is dead, I thought I'd go over my random trade ideas because obviously the Spurs need to start tanking in order to get the next Tim Duncan. Here are my three points on the Spurs, which should be definitely followed by the front office.

1. Trade Timmy Dunk-man. I've heard that he's called the "Big Fundamental." With such an awesome nickname, he must have some trade value. I'd try to trade him for maybe a lower first round pick, if possible, although to be honest, when I started tuning in in the second half of Game 6, he didn't really impress me. Maybe a second rounc pick or something. Either way, he has to go.
2. Build around a young core of Splitter, Parker, and Blair. A quick look at the Spurs page on Yahoo told me that these three guys are pretty young. I saw Oklahoma City the other night, and they're a young team, too. The key is to trade everyone, including the "Manoe Genoblee" I saw on the floor against the Spurs. I heard that he was clutch, but he shot 6-14 from the floor. That's not clutch to me. I think he might have some trade value, but at this age I'm just not sure. Maybe he should just get released from the roster or something so you don't have to pay his bonus. That's how the NBA works, right?
3. Fire Greg Popovich. I haven't heard much about Lionel Hollins, but I do know the he's some nobody who coaches a random NBA team in the middle of Tennessee. Any time your coach gets outcoached by a nobody from Tennessee, he should be fired. I think that you should hire a guy like Kurt Rambis. I heard he was on the Showtime Lakers, so that must mean that he's a good coach.
Okay, guys, those are my three cents on the issues at hand. I'm going to go eat some lead paint now. Also, for anyone who's counting, I was the first poster who called that the Spurs are dead.
