So.  It's over, it's done... finished.     We're old, soft and slow.  We're feeling sorry for ourselves and looking for answers, but we don't even know the correct questions. 

No Defense?  No Heart?  Too ashamed to admit you're a Spurs Fan?  So embarassed you actually changed the channel last night?  Is it all just too much to face?

Is it time... Is it time to finally go gentle into that good night?

Well Fuck That.  That's right.  It's time to get Angry.  It's time to Rage, Rage, Rage!

Look, we all became fans of this Spurs team because of some specific reason.  It may have been because of your love for a certain 7 footer with a toothy grin.  It may have been because of a man with a roll so smooth, they called him Ice.  Maybe it was the silent, gentle giant with a true understanding of the fundamentals of the game.  Or the French whirling dervish slashing thru the lanes.  Maybe it's The Argentine whose heart and soul don't know the meaning of the word quit.  Or maybe it's the sarcastic, but wise old soul who makes us look forward to our retirement years.  Or it could be a multitude of other reasons.  It doesn't matter. 

This is about them, but it's also about us.  Because they represent the way we'd like to live our lives.  Don't we strive to emulate that same Modesty, Honor and Grace that is so indicative of our pine wood heroes?  Haven't we always been proud to be called a Spurs fan?

Well then, It's time to give them 1/1000th of the pleasure and joy they've give us all these many, many years. It's time to give them our endorsement.  To give them our Pride.  Our commitment.

So I tell you now... Get Angry, Get Passionate, Be Enraged!  Give this team your loyalty, your hope, your support.  It's time to fucking man up and Own your team!

Win or lose, it doesn't matter.  This is our team.  These are our Spurs.  Our Heroes.
