What if the losing streak continues? Would it be beneficial or not? Having the #1 seed becomes difficult when you face a very physical team led by Z-Bo. On the other hand, here comes the 2nd seed, (if the current seeding would not be changed) will face a wrecked New Orleans team.

NOH and Griz may switch places the coming weeks. SAS can only control its own destiny and right now healthy players > seeding

I’m just thinking about the seeding, because I believe that we will have a 100% Spurs team after
1-3 games. But isn’t it good for us to play the New Orleans in the 1st round?

The real problem is Thunder or Portlant

Right! Also, one of my friends say that Denver would be forcing an upset too, he predicts they can go through the WCF. I doubt him a little bit, but their bench are really tough, made of former NYK starters.

I understand that you’re worried. For this season, this four game losing streak is unprecedented and the “injuries” to our key players is certainly a cause for concern.

But aren’t we ruling out the Spurs a little too soon? There certainly IS a chance the Spurs could lose the first seed to the Lakers, but I believe there is a better chance that the Spurs hold onto the seed than the Lakers have of passing us, as demonstrated by DocRostov’s post.

Take a look at this article and let me know what you think.

In terms of the match-up, I would still prefer the Grizzlies to the Hornets. Sure, the Grizzlies would be a far tougher match-up but in the long run, the advantages of home court throughout the play offs negate an easier first round match-up. Also, since the Grizzlies are a tough team to beat, the Spurs just gain that much more focus playing this up and coming team instead of being disillusioned by a Paul-centered Hornets team.

Well, I am not really paying attention to Sports writers like Buck Harvey says, sometimes I think they are just giving the fans some false hopes. Though, I prefer that article to be pretty close to reality. Besides, I have this feeling that the Spurs will remain #1, but still thinking if being #2 will make things better for the Spurs in the playoffs.

Another thing, I hate the noise Laker fans produce. Come on! They are to proud to give them moments like this!!
