Either way, Splitter is set to face a stretch that, for better or ill, could define his rookie season.

"This," Manu Ginobili said, "is the opportunity he’s been waiting for."

I’m telling ya, this injury could turn out to be a legitimately great thing. It’s all up to Tiago.

Yep. The good news is he should be well rested.

A bit of a poor performance. I know he is billed as a good pick and roll player but they are not hitting him on his rolls and he rolls on 95% of the screens he sets. From what I saw that made for some soft screens that were not too effective.

He’d probably foul out of last night’s game if he actually set a screen.

Game in Denver he seemed gassed but that’s too be expected of a guy who’s played sparingly then starts in the altitude. Going against Aldridge will be a top-notch challenge for him.

- Thank you SF Giants for an incredible 2010 season and painting the City orange & black!
- I vow to never again mention "playoffs" and "49ers" together until we have a "quarterback."

Tiago should’ve gotten more run in the fourth quarter against the Blazers because Blair constantly needed double team help with Aldridge

It sucks that Splitter didnt see any meaningful minutes in the second half after looking rock-solid in the first. He must not have been a good match with the rest of the guys Pop decided to put on the floor. Still, the Spurs had the game won, even without Splitter and with a small lineup.

Yeah he played really well offensively and defensively. Some times I think Pop is a little to stubborn with the lineups. Bonner as hard as he works on defensive is a liability against decent low post scores and he can’t rebound to save his life. So if he isn’t hitting his shot he shouldn’t be logging so many minutes.
