With Blake Griffin on the team, does he take a pass on the Rookie Challenge game and is a replacement named for him. Has a replacement for Yao been named yet?

Sources say it’s probably Nash

Should be bunches of information on TNT. They’re doing an hour long pregame. Now.

Let the whining for All-Star snubs begin!

I really don’t think much of the All Star game, and only care that neither Tim nor Manu get hurt playing a show game. I also think a case can be made that Duncan does not have the numbers this year to justify a selection.

Then again, his numbers are better than Yao Ming’s.

Having said that, I think it’s a great honor for the both of them. It’s fitting to have Pop, Manu, Duncan, Blair, Neal and Bud representing the Spurs, having one of the best first halves in league history. And, heaven forbid this is Duncan’s last season, it would be great for him to finish it as an All Star.

All these GIFs are breaking my browser.

Now all Pop has to do is severely limit their minutes on the court. With both being reserves and not starters, it’ll be easier to do.

yeah hope he gives kobe and pau almost 38mins!

Ray Allen is also an Eastern reserve. The East has 4 Celtics, 3 Heat, 2 Hawks, and one each from Orlando, Chicago and the Knicks. The West has two each from the Spurs, the Lakers, the Thunder along with one each from the Clippers, Mavericks, Jazz, Nuggets and Hornets.

@russbengston

If FOUR Celtics make the East squad, the Western reserves should just be the Spurs.

Also, on Twitter, Mase is campaigning for TP to get Yao’s slot.

I’d rather Tony earn a slot in the Skills Challenge. With three of them on the ASG, it’ll be harder for Pop to be discrete about limiting their minutes. Another hopeful bonus, might be, Tony will have extra motivation for the rest of the season for the snub.

Congrats guys. Well deserved. It’s not just about individual numbers, but about teams wins and teamwork that shows better on coaches film instead of highlights. Now play like you do tonight.

- Thank you SF Giants for an incredible 2010 season and painting the City orange & black!
- I vow to never again mention "playoffs" and "49ers" together until we have a "quarterback."
- You gotta bring ass to get ass.
