Good evening PTR! It's the last day of the month, we're entering the home stretch now. Our Spurs currently sit at... 49 and 10, is it? It is! 49 and 10. I'm horribly proud of this. What a testament to everything this franchise stands for. I'm lucky enough (and not that I am the only one, by any means) to have witnessed something similar to this first hand with the Bulls, dare I say, twice before ('96 Bulls, 72-10, and the often underrated, nearly as impressive 69 win follow up season). I can honestly say that this feels much better. I can only hope and pray this season ends the same as those two did. I'm older,
wiser, and have some great, knowledgeable, and above all, classy fans, on the best blog in the world to share this with. You all are what's making this season most enjoyable. Let's keep rolling!
All the above being said, we have five games on League Pass tonight, with one on NBA TV. Starting at 6pm Spurs time, the New Jersey Nets host the even newer look Phoenix Suns, fresh off a buzzer beater in Indiana yesterday afternoon. Also at 6, Washington plays host to a team we need to keep our eyes on, the Chicago Bulls. Also fresh off an impressive win in Portland last night (we needed that one), the Atlanta Hawks travel to Denver to take on the Melo-less Nuggets. At the same time, on NBA TV, the new look Utah Jazz host the Kendrick Perkins-less Boston Celtics. And finally, in what ought to be scrub game of the night, but probably a good one, nonetheless, the Sacremento Kings host
Blake Griffin the LA Clippers. We got a dose of bad news today, with Tony going down 2 - 4 weeks with a calf injury. Do we pick up anyone, or stand pat?
No Southwest Division Opponenets in action tonight. Discuss!
