I might tune in to see what Blake Superior will do, but I’m not wasting my time on the rest of that nonsense. And why should I? Don’t feel like inviting a single player from the top 3-point shooting team (percentage-wise, tied w/ GS) in the league, NBA? Then, don’t expect me to watch.

Yeah it bothers me. Obviously that’s kind of like my All-Star game. It’s what I do. I shoot threes. It didn’t happen again this year. I think I hurt my knee. I got a bone bruise and I missed three or four weeks. I guess that was cause enough for them (NBA) to keep me out again.
dude, the NBA does not want a player with that shooting form to win the 3 point contest, and the only way they can do that is by not letting him participate at all. Aside from the obvious national gag at the sight of his horrific stroke, can you imagine if children across the country actually start shooting that way.

Call me crazy, but I think Neal would have done better than Bonner. Rationale? Bonner is usually halfway in his shooting stance when he makes his threes. Grabbing the ball and setting up your shot is totally different. Neal on the other hand, could have.

Not crazy at all. Bonner would either rush and miss a lot or make a lot, but not get far enough through. Neal is very Ray Allen like in that he has a strong and quick consistent stroke.

yeah, but the dunk contest isn’t just judged on the performance of the dunk, but also on the hype of it. Kenny knew that, and basically won it because of it. Not cheating, but just understanding the overall criterion of what makes it better than others, sort of what the Spurs’ Organization does every day.

Man, I was expecting Griffin to dunk the ball, land through the sunroof and exit through the driver’s side door. That, or dunk the length of car from the right side of the court.
Of course, any failure on either one of those dunk attempts would have lead to catastrophic-injury-endofcareer. And that’s probably why they were vetoed.
