2/12 - Injury Updates
Just Splitter’s luck: Rookie center Tiago Splitter tested his strained left hamstring before Saturday’s game and came back with a two-word assessment.
"Not good," he said.
Splitter missed his second game with the injury in Washington. He is considered day-to-day going forward.

Dice all right: Veteran forward Antonio McDyess played 16:57 with his sprained right thumb wrapped. He finished with two points and three rebounds and made one of his two field-goal attempts.

Anderson played 27:35 for the Toros; winding up with 15pts, 5rebs, 4 assts, 2 blks, and 6 turnovers. I watched part of the game on FSWS, and didn’t think he was looking very sharp. It might have been nice if he had been with the Spurs for last night’s game, but otherwise he seems better off putting in a lot of minutes with the Toros.
I think it’s too risky to bring Anderson back when minutes are far more variable. Honestly, Anderson needs to dominate in Austin. If he does, then he’ll be satisfactory in San Antonio.
The Wiz game was definitely a lot opp for Tiago though.

Dice’s health is more important for our playoff hopes this season.

Yes, this is true. I don’t think anyone disputes this.

What I love about PtR is that somebody here would often dispute even the most evident statements.
