It's gotten pretty slow on PtR recently.  I posted a comment about this last week, but it looks like Sactown Royalty has a Risk (Google "Risk board game" if you don't know what it's about) league online and they are playing Risk against each other.  Since it looks like we won't be getting our basketball fix for a while, I was going to solicit some ideas for things to do during the lockout.  Here are some after the jump:

1. Risk.  It's working pretty well over at Sactown Royalty.  You don't play in real time and every player has one day to make a move, so it works well for all the international readers of PtR. 
   
2. Mafia (also known as Werewolf).  This game works pretty well on forums.  Abridged rules: basically, there is one policeman, one doctor, a few mafia, and everyone else is a townsperson.  Every night, the mafia decide to kill someone, and every day the townspeople have to decide to hang someone.  The policeman can choose to "investigate" someone to see if they are a mafia.  The doctor can choose to "save" someone and if that person has also been chosen by the mafia to die, then that person will not die.  Anyways, it's an interesting game.
3. Basketball quiz.  A person asks a really random/obscure question having something to do with basketball.  The person who gets it right can ask the next question (Yes, it does sound nerdy).

Anyways, it's pretty boring since basketball isn't being played.  Post some ideas in the comments, because that's all I've got right now.  Hopefully this doesn't end up like that NBA 2K thing with DBB that never happened.
