Back in the day, my dad had one just like that, only in black.

Scary.

Game….if I were emotionally invested in the C’s, I’d be finding a small dark place to throw up right now.

I’m not really paying attention to this. Boston’s down 0-2 and the LA’s down 0-1, right?

Agh. Boston is already facing an uphill battle. Even if they win the next two, they still have to win a game 6 or 7 in LA.

I dont think its far fetched to say that if the Celtics dont win both of these home games, they are done.

I’m not even watching the games. So it must be boring.

Refs are too controlling. It’s been hard to watch, although the 4th quarter of G4 was pretty intense.

My Lakers fan friend is basically getting sexual pleasure from this series. After game 1 he sent me about 20 straight messages about how “great” of a game it was and how it was a “perfect” game to watch and how everything was cool, same with this game. After game 2 (which I thought was the only legitimately fun game so far) he got whiny about how the refs were killing his Lakers.

It’s so tough to watch the finals with your two least favorite teams in contention.

I know this is off topic but our former spur Avery will be coaching the Nets and I’ll make a bold prediction here, the Nets will make the playoffs regardless of who they draft in the lottery, that’s all.

It's the playoffs and I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

by Joe_Joe on Jun 10, 2010 8:54 AM CDT reply actions

Avery in NJ, eh? This is interesting and bears some consideration.

I think I may agree with you, Joe. Or do you prefer Joe?

Be careful; apparently I'm unrelenting in my bonhomie.

by J.R. Wilco on Jun 10, 2010 11:16 PM CDT up reply actions

Joe is fine with me. The Nets have some talent they just need good coaching and direction they might make some noise next season if they get a productive player from the draft. Or real lucky if they sign LeBron to play with them. But if they make it to just 50 wins Avery might win Coach of the year. Im not sure why im getting hyped about the Nets but I think feel bad on how they did last season.

It's the playoffs and I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

If DeJuan Blair is watching, I hope he takes a good look at Glen Davis and knows he can make that sort of difference for the Spurs in some games.

Asked before the game how Parker has looked, Popovich said, "He’s still cute. "

Yes, absolutely, without question, most definitely, for sure, no doubt, ditto, I agree 100%.
