Trail Blazers waive forward Ryan Gomes
Gomes is available and we might be able to pick him up on the cheap. He might be a decent bench option for the Spurs. He can score and plays OK D.

You never know. He is also still getting some ducats from the Blazers, so that might help. I said initially that he might be a decent bench option, but I could actually see him start over RJ. This guy is a great scorer and while he isn’t a lockdown defender he would not be a detriment on D.

doubt we’ll get him, even if he wants to join us, which he won’t. Unless we plan on trading RJ.
