Awesome news! I sent a message to Tiago last night asking him if he had seen WeNeedTiago.com or not. He replied, "Very nice the webpage!!! Thanks!!! Best regards" to my Twitter via Direct Message. How incredible is that?
This guy has won my heart already. I don't even care if he averages 1 pt and 1 reb (reverse jinx), he's my MVP without even him signing officially yet.
This made my summer so far. Only one other thing can top it.

Well as of right now, he hasn’t replied to me. Probably on purpose because I’ve sent it to him TWICE.
He’s been talking about soccer and making weird references that my American brain cannot wrap around.

I know how you’re feeling, I too have conversed with a pro athlete.
I talked on myspace to Nnamdi Asomugha, pro bowl cornerback for the Raiders (yes I’m 100% sure it’s the real Nnamdi) for like 10 minutes. He’s a very fun guy to talk to.
I also got a sup from Georgeous Hill.

Okay maybe im getting way ahead of myself but all signs are pointing to Tiago finally coming and I cant wait for the draft because by then it will tell us if Splitter is coming or not.

Manu was on local news tonight, when asked about Splitter he said he saw him play for Brazil a few years ago but heard he has improved a lot. Didn’t sound like they were best buds or anything.

You know I hate to correct people (ok, not really) but I think what he actually said would be properly represented by “cool as f2k” if we used The System on short expletives, which doesn’t seem to happen at all.
Perhaps a refresher would be in order.
Also, I think it would help if we had a name for this system: just calling it The System, seems a little lacking.
