With only two teams left playing ball, the rumors are starting to fly. Yesterday on his weekly ESPN.com chat, Chad Ford mentioned that one scenario floating out there is San Antonio sending Tony Parker to Indiana for the No. 10 pick, Troy Murphy and Brandon Rush.

He’s been “reporting” that for weeks. Doesn’t mean it has any legs.

I know, but it was updated today. So it potentially does still have legs.

Chad Ford is just bored like the rest of us; he needed to do something to validate his paycheck from the Worldwide Loser.

didn’t this rumour pop out like a month ago? So I’m assuming if this goes down with the 10th pick we plan on drafting a big and with murphy already it seems like somebody most likely mcdyess will be on the move or a sign in trade with splitters rights might be in the works since with murphy,#10 pick, blair, duncan frontcourt would be stacked unless we plan on moving blair(which i doubt) and replace him with splitter.

This is stupid. If the Spurs trade up it would only be to get Derrick Favors, no one else. He is long gone at #10. Don’t see any validity in this

Agree. Unless we get a PG to help replace losing TP along with a top 3 draft pick I don’t see how this trade makes the any better.

Woj is reporting that this deal might be on the table. The Wolves would trade Flynn, the 16 and the 23 pick to the Pacers in a deal that includes the 10 pick.

Why

would the T-Wolves do that trade? Man there GM is an idiot. Maybe we can get Love or Jefferson for a few new coolers and a nice burrito from Taco Cabana!

One thing i can do...................is FINGER ROLL.

Chad is seriously in need of some fresh lies news.

I didn’t watch any Pacers game last season but really, TP for the 10th pick and spare parts? Did Murphy and Rush just had breakout seasons? And that 10th pick is a few picks short to get Favors or the two guys ahead of him cause that’s what we’re giving up – an established game changer. Clearly an Indiana fan wrote it, why else would he think we had become the Clippers? (Scola who?) It got worse, I read the article (the Parker trade that the Pacers wouldn’t do because it’s lopsided against them), when I saw this

A few weeks ago, we discussed the rumor of Tony Parker being dangled for Indiana’s No. 10 pick, Troy Murphy and Brandon Rush. It’s highly doubtful Indiana accepts this, despite their point guard problems, but what if R.C. Buford throws in the rights to Splitter, knowing he is on his way to the NBA next year, along with San Antonio’s No. 20 pick?

Really, for a pick that they are basically trying to give away?

by TD21 on Jun 22, 2010 1:27 AM CDT reply actions

that’s insanity with the 20th pick and Splitter

Never going to happen.

With this latest “update” Ford goes from spreading an unlikely rumor to embarrassing himself.

I’d literally lose faith in life if they gave up Tiago’s rights.

"We'll see how our character is," guard Tony Parker said. "We don't have time to be sad. Nobody cares. It's just us. We're the only ones who can help each other."

Tiago’s better than anyone we can get with the 10th pick already, so… I would cry.

Free Tiago Splitter!

by Tim C. on Jun 22, 2010 9:39 AM CDT up reply actions

Mike Miller and Randy Foye got the fifth pick in the draft last year. And that’s mostly with the TWolves trying to dump Miller’s contract. Now, I’m supposed to believe that Tiago and Tony would get the 10th pick, a terrible contract, and a mostly nobody?

We specialize in misinformation around here. Facts and stats just get in the way.

I’m with you, bossman. I think this is wishful thinking on Indy’s part.

sorry i know the INDY trade is the topic of convo but i just as well dismissed this trade as

not worth it and totally non viable.

whose line is it anyways?

by Count Down City 210 on Jun 22, 2010 2:06 PM CDT reply actions

We suck due to new guys, then Tp was tired,Manu’s schnozzle was badly broken by Noringsky. Now you take out Tp?He’ll be back. And his 16 points is dangerous than his 16 now.Get Rush and Murphy and you’ll get a better bonner and a guy the hell I only see play but don’t know how good he is.Then add it all up,then the sum is….we suck worse than this year.Chad is just making this thing up,I mean 5 months of waiting? Its longer than waiting for a mother waiting for labor.9 months is faster than 5 months,go figure why.

For Sale:Anyone interested with Spurs SF Richard Jefferson? Then just pick up your phone and dial 781-452-0659.Oh,wait its the rejection hot line.(Just joking,we're stuck with him, let's deal with it that we got no other SF and I guess he is much better than what he is showing us.)
