Thrice - Stare At The Sun (via ThriceVEVO)  I put this one first because it is raw energy.  Get hyper for the awesome series we are about to see.

Kenna- Sun Red Sky Blue (via Splintermvp13)  This one is pretty poppy but an awesome song.  Kenna is probably the only non-rock artist I buy so that might say something I guess.

Fuel - Sunburn (via Metalbass92)  This one is older and I'm sure lots of people hate it.  It's a guilty pleasure.

Catch The Sun (via dovesofficial)  Doves are awesome. New album sucked.

Jimmy Eat World - ( My Sundown High Quality ) (via vallentay)  My girlfriend hates all the extra stuff in this song.  I think its good though.

Wolftron - Simple Sunshine (via strawberryswisher213)  Super mellow, but fitting.  Awesome piano part too.

Morrissey - Sunny (Official Video) (via officialmorrissey)  This one is for Varner.  I picked this one over Lazy Sunbathers.

Portugal The Man - The Sun (full song) (via imabamf) Portugal the Man is probably the newest (to me) band on here.  They bring the fucking funk man!  Line from "Stella" about Funk Rock vs Funk Rock.  Laughter...

THE BEATLES- HERE COMES THE SUN (via markrallim)  I saved this one for last because it is just so calming before this crazy series.

I left out a lot of super big songs, but oh well.....feel free to fill in my gaps in the comments.  Not to get ahead of myself, but I would love to do one of these for songs about California....if you know what I mean.....(wink)

The only song I searched that wasn't on youtube was Action/Reaction's Spark the Sun....so that's the song that is missing from this "mixtape".
