Would Pop Have Had Success With LeBron?
A nice (though inconclusive) article contrasting the attitudes of LeBron and TD, including this revealing quotation:
This from ESPN.com last week: "Two opposing GMs, without citing specific examples, said they know James has vetoed deals (Danny) Ferry would have made over the past few years."
It makes one wonder who would have been involved in those deals...

Tim Duncan is why many people are Spurs fans.
Lebrat James needs to learn about being a team player and leader if he is going to have a chance to win any rings.
"Keeping the dream alive for 2011!"
can’t teach an old dog new tricks, LeBron will never be a team player, and he won’t win any championships

I think Lebron may still win a championship but it will be in spite of his character, instead of because of it. And also: can we start copyrighting a new phrase to describe Spurs basketball—Smartball. Other teams seem to emulate it, much like the MLB Moneyball, so I thought it apropos.
The Spurs have an Intelligence system that can be compared to the CIA, heck, even greater than it….I’m talking about Pop and his associates. One part of that system is people skills, which Pop has mastered to perfection.
