Damion James's standing reach surprised me. Guess what, Dexter Pittman has the highest body fat of anyone they measured.

Wow, Stanley Robinson is much shorter than previously thought. Since his physical tools are his main selling point, that’s not good.

Standing reach matters more than height. You don’t play with the top of your head.

So DE has the Spurs taking Luke Babbitt. Seems like the type of un-athletic guy the Spurs might like.

Here’s a hi-light reel – Luke Babbitt

First link didn’t work. He looks like a very good offensive player for sure. I’m not sure I’d like him over Paul George, but I’m only going off of what other people say, so I don’t really know. George seems more athletic and still has a good spot up game.

by Big50 on May 21, 2010 5:26 PM CDT up reply actions

I’m with you on Paul George, he seems more athletic, but that’s just from watching highlight videos of both players. George does seem to have a good spot up game and a very quick release.

by xman130 on May 21, 2010 5:54 PM CDT up reply actions

I agree, I’d take Paul George over Luke.IDK who to chose, Stanley or Paul, but seeing Paul’s game and that quick release that you’ve said, he reminds me of Kevin Durant at 6-7 and a better dunker.Just watch his highlights and his gym dunks and impersonating Vince Carter’s dunk and his 360 dunks, just got me saying, I’ll take that for number 20 please.Anyways Xavier is a top 15 pick and Stanley and George are the guys we need to choose, and I guess SA might pick Paul cause until now there is no Stanley sightings. Both plays defense and are both good for their position and they can shoot threes. And yeah Stanley is 2 inches smaller than what we’ve thought or what he has let as thought. And Paul is 1 inches taller than him and is indeed 6-7., are you sure they are measured well?Maybe there would be another Blair-esque-I-got-no-acls results

George isn’t going to be around for #20.

And DeJuan Blair wasn’t around for #37.

We specialize in misinformation around here. Facts and stats just get in the way.

Blair’s stock was falling after the combine, George’s is rising.

Still, most mocks have him available at 20, that I’m seeing anyway.

by Big50 on May 22, 2010 2:54 PM CDT up reply actions

yup he is but hopefully he or stanley would be available at 20.
anyways is tiago already crushing our hopes?

The Spurs are so very secretive these summer months, it’s crazy.

"We'll see how our character is," guard Tony Parker said. "We don't have time to be sad. Nobody cares. It's just us. We're the only ones who can help each other."

blame Pop and his CIA training

I think Pop is more secretive than the CIA – maybe NSA?
