The Spurs would be making a tremendous mistake by trading Tony. He is their leader without him, the Spurs are not the Spurs. Plus not only do you lose his skills, you lose EVA LONGORIA. No one wants to lose her. Besides that he when healthy is a top point guard. He is not the problem Richard Jefferson is. He just does not fit. But do not worry I have an idea. Spurs trade Richard Jefferson and the 20th pick for Francisco Garcia. Garcia is a perfect fit. He can shoot threes well and is an excellent defender. He fits all their needs. He does what Jefferson could not do. He could kinda of be the Spurs Bruce Bowen. Cisco is also a strong veteran presense and can guard opposing teams top players taking pressure of Manu and others and allowing them to focus more on offense. Francisco is a much better shooter and defender than Jefferson. The Spurs become a better team and can better contend after this trade.
