George Hill sketch
O hai, art. Fancy meeting you again.
Here's my horrible confession. It's been more than a year since I last drew any Spurs player. Sacrilege, I know. As a few of you have noticed, my presence on this board has been sporadic these past year. All I can say is that I've been busy (oh yeah, who isn't) and I haven't had neither time nor inclination to draw. My last decent sketch (Spurs or otherwise) was five months ago. I have just been so consumed with something else that I had nothing left for sketching.
So anyway...I'm very relieved to have finished this sketch. It's a little rough and messy but considering that I've had no practice in awhile, I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out. I hope you guys like it. Comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hah. Good pick, eh, ladies? Great work as always, carina. How’ve you been?
I smell death... everywhere.
I’m good. It’s been my ‘off-season’ too for awhile now, so I had time to draw this one.
I’ve already done quite a few sketches of the Big Three before so I wanted to try something else. Plus, George has quite a pretty face. =p

Fantastic! It is so real and life-like. I’m somewhat of a newcomer; do you have links to any of your previous pictures? Thanks! Excellent work!
Hi, I’ve posted a few on here. If you don’t mind, just scroll through my blog here:
There are only four pages. The ambigrams and sketches should be there.

I don’t know why the link doesn’t appear. Let me try it again.

Awesome, carina. I’m looking forward to your DeJuan Blair sketch :)

You read my mind. I’m just not sure when that’ll be. =p

Decent
OK for a beginner. Keep working. You should be sketching 3 hours a day. Keep at it and don’t let up.
No, this is not a knock on carina. Real artist know what kind of practice it takes to improve.

Thanks, I know there’s much I can improve on. However, it’s really just a hobby so I just do it during my free time. I can go for long spells without drawing anything. Hopefully someday I can take formal art classes and be more consistent.
