I just thought I'd bring to attention a free agent who I haven't seen mentioned much.
His Scouting Report has him as "A strong and explosive athlete. Can get up and down the floor well, leap over opponents, and post up. Versatile, and shows the ability to do most things well in spurts."
This sounds good for running small ball and providing a spark off the bench
His stats for this past year aren't very good but that could have more to do with being Melo's backup than his own fault.
The Spurs might not go for him because he can't shoot the three well. Having a career avg of .300
This is my first fanpost so I'll introduce myself after the jump :)Thanks for jumping, I first became a fan of the Spurs in Primary school. All my friends had favorite basketball players and so I needed one too. The choices were Keith Van Horn or Tim Duncan (because Kobe, Shaq, Jordan, Kidd and others were already taken) Thank goodness they decided Tim Duncan was a better fit. Because I live in China, I don't get to watch many Spurs games (the games are on in the morning when I'm in school). I was however able to watch the 2007 finals. The most memorable moments being Tony Parker's floaters always being just out of reach for the Crabs and Francisco Elson's monster jam on the break. I then really wanted a way to follow my team but didn't know how. The Spurs aren't popular here in China and I was unable to watch any games. But then I found you guys at the beginning of the 08-09 season and it's been a great experience being able to read all about the Team I love.
Thanks for the good work and sorry if I've misused the FanPost. I just wanted to contribute a little.
