Ridiculous Upside: Spurs working out Paul George and Xavier Henry
Fuel for the offseason discussion fire. George is one of my personal favorites projected to go near the Spurs' pick in this year's draft, and Henry might be the best shooter in the draft.

….the huge slump he (Henry) was in for the latter half of this season -
And here I was worried we wouldn’t find anyone to fill Mason’s shoes……
Haha, my thoughts exactly when I read that.

DraftExpress has him at 6’7" and as a 3/4. Hmm . . .

after watching both vids.
Paul has freakishly long arms and with the vid(I don’t know if might just fool me but) I can say that he can defend and he is very athletic and can shoot threes just 2% lesser than Xavier. And with the way he shoots the ball he reminds me of Durant.Xavier is more of a shooter rather than a shooter & defender.

I puit this up over at RU, but I saw somewhere that the Spurs have Jeremy Wise coming in on Friday as well…I see if I can’t find that story again
While complacency costs, perseverance pays
I replied on your comment over there. I don’t think he’d make the team, since he’s mostly an SG, and an undersized one at that. He’s 6’2", 165 lbs (only 8 lbs more than me, and I’m 5’7" & in pretty good shape). He’s above average on 3s in the D-League, but he would probably be an average—below average defender.

He's definitely not "mostly an SG" anymore
He can play the point adeptly, though probably needs to be in a more open system.

For now, my top SF prospects are Paul George, Stanley Robinson, Quincy Pondexter, and maybe Luke Babbitt in no order.

I’ll be honest, I’m no expert at college ball so I know very little about these prospects. But the little I know makes me wonder about Stanley Robinson. On the surface he’s great, he has size and skills but what about his attitude? I’ve found no interviews or anything that shows whether or not he has a Spurs attitude. Plus Draft Express says he has tremendous defensive potential but how can we be sure he reaches this potential? His profile also lists “Mental Toughness” and “Off Court Red Flags?” as weaknesses. Doesn’t sound very Spur-like but what do I know?

Right now, there are only a couple of Euros predicted to even be picked in the 1st round, and they can still pull out of the draft. Besides, I think we need to get someone in the 1st round who can definitely contribute next season.
The Spurs never, ever, show their cards this early. Ever.
Everr!
