These are from last summer, about a couple weeks after he was born. Or hatched, whatever. He was frail and tiny and still, a badass. These obviously have unbelievable mojo power because of the cuteness. GO SPURS GO.

We haven’t hit a 3. Missed some FTs. Got sloppy which fed a big scoring quarter for the Mavs. And they’re hitting lucky shots. Yet we’re still up. We got this, folks.

I agree, but if we go cold (we are shooting relatively high), the Mavs will take over. Those lucky rolls on the rim and the crazy makes will translate to makes in the 2nd.

OK. Manu only has 2 points and we havent hit a single three yet. I believe Manu will get on track scoring in the second half. Duncan cannot be stopped. And if the mavs need tough shots to fall then we can live with that. Hopefully the spurs bring the energy at the start of the third quarter. Im not predicting anything.

the free throw shooting was 26-15 spurs. however take away manus four free throws at the end, george hills two free throws and parkers and one free throw and u have 19-15 spurs.

They went with a gimmicky small guard lineup, shelved Butler and stuck to a zone for the most part. It sped the game up a little bit and was effective in their third quarter run. I would’ve liked for Jefferson to get more post-ups against Kidd when they guard him man-on-man.
The zone threw the Spurs off for a bit. That explains the 17-2 run in the third.

quite a few times, actually. just looked it up. teams that shoot 0% on three pointers are 36-33 since 1991. apparently missing all your threes is totally a chill thing to do in the playoffs.
also, this has happened to the spurs before; seven times. five times in the robinson era, two times in the duncan era. er, three, now.
That’s actually pretty illuminating. I thought it would be a much bigger deal… it only seems like it because we’re usually a hot 3-shooting team.

I’m so happy, pumped, proud of our spurs and jumpy. Is it just me or all of you guys? I think we played solid D for the most part and G Hill was fantastic. Manu was, well, you know Manu Fuckin Ginobili. It was physical and the good folks persevered.
