MYSA: No Hill until playoffs?
No Hill until playoffs? Point guard George Hill hobbled as he walked down an AT&T Center hallway before Friday's game against Memphis, and Popovich said Hill's hopes of playing again in the regular season are just as shaky as his gait. Hill, who strained an ankle tendon in Sunday's victory over the Lakers, almost certainly won't play until the playoffs begin next weekend. The Spurs' regular season ends Wednesday at Dallas. "He can't move laterally, so I'd be shocked if he played Monday or Wednesday," Popovich said. "I don't know how he could." With Tony Parker still not ready to start after returning from a broken finger, Garrett Temple made his third start at point guard Friday, collecting eight points and two assists. Popovich said he's been impressed with what he's seen from the rookie. "He's basically been solid," Popovich said.
