Sunday Sunday Sunday Loser Thread! [3/7/10]

Happy Sunday friends! There are six games throughout the NBA today, and luckily none of them involve our Spurs. Sunday has not been our best day, as of late, with the exception of last week.

So far today, Philadelphia has already beaten Toronto, 114 to 101. In an NBA Finals rematch, Orlando hosts the Lakers, Houston travels to Detroit, the Celtics host the Wizz, the Kings host the OKC Thunder, and the Nuggets host the Blazers. Can the Lakers avoid three losses in a row since February of 2008? Who loses big?

The refs are calling phantom fouls on DHoward in order to keep the Lakers in the game.

So the Magic throw the ball in from out of bounds and Pietrus dunks it, and the refs take the basket away. Pitiful.

Against the Spurs last year that play was a game-winner for the Magic.

Brilliant catch and toss in by Dwight! Will they call goal tending?

Way to hustle Vince.

by Ed (dfjmed) on Mar 7, 2010 4:09 PM CST reply actions

Wow, Matt Barnes just could have put the game away…

by Bakkie009 on Mar 7, 2010 4:11 PM CST reply actions

They’ve tried to hand this game to the Lakers, but the Magic have been too clutch down the stretch.

You can say that again.

I already did (actually due to a ‘freezing’ of the post).

That was my point.

Here comes Fish and Barnes getting into it.

by Ed (dfjmed) on Mar 7, 2010 4:14 PM CST reply actions

Fisher should have been teed up – this double-foul stuff is ridiculous.

by 4Him on Mar 7, 2010 4:17 PM CST up reply actions

No doubt. Parker would’ve dominated him, broken hand or no.

Free throws!!! Jeez!!!

by Ed (dfjmed) on Mar 7, 2010 4:18 PM CST reply actions

Son of a bitch. Kobe will get that 3.

by Ed (dfjmed) on Mar 7, 2010 4:19 PM CST reply actions

This is a great game. Hope the Magic win…

by Bakkie009 on Mar 7, 2010 4:22 PM CST reply actions

I find it silly that they call it “revenge” when it’s just one game and does not in any way compensate for that Finals loss.

It’s what we in America call hype.

Do you have any of that in your neck of the woods?

Rest the Croissant!

I was gonna say “Yeah,Manny Pacquiao”. But I like the guy, and I don’t want to be murdered.
