GET REAL Safety Awareness Program for Women (Non-Spurs Related)

Stay connected for news and updates

Before I start, I’d like to thank Wayne and the PtR staff for allowing me to make this post. I’ll try my best to adhere to their rules/expectations.

I’ve been involved with the U.S. Martial Arts Training Center in Converse, TX for most of my life (18 years or 70%). I can’t do justice to the school in describing what it and the people that make it up have given to me. I just do my best to give my time and effort to the USMATC and all who walk through its door. So when the school wanted to spread the word of their newly designed women’s self defense program, something I find tremendously important and beneficial, I immediately offered my services. Over the past 6 months I have designed the logos, brochures, business cards, and even constructed(ing) the website (my first ever). I hope that one day I can match in design what the program provides in value.

The GET REAL Self Awareness and Personal Safety Program for Women

The GET REAL Self Awareness and Personal Safety Program is designed to give women and teen girls the skills they need to meet the world with confidence, assertiveness and personal boundaries intact.  The GET REAL Safety Awareness Training program is an empowering, fun and informative way to give women and teen girls the physical, mental and emotional skills they need to live without paranoia or fear.  Whether or not you have been a victim in the past, this course will help reduce your risk of becoming one in the future.

By combining the physical benefits of several different types of martial arts, along with awareness training and emotional self defense, co-founders Rhonda Payne and Jan Bonner have created a self defense program that is second to none. GET REAL Safety Awareness Training provides the skills and training to be better prepared for encounters with the outside world. This is NOT a martial arts course. You do not have to be in shape, skilled or knowledgeable about any martial arts to participate in this course.

Rhonda Payne and Jan Bonner have been researching and teaching self defense and safety awareness for over twenty years.  Although this is NOT a martial arts course, Rhonda Payne’s 30 years of Taekwondo and Hapkido training, combined with Jan Bonner’s over 35 years of Judo have created a safety awareness and self defense course that is extremely valuable and effective.

Please relay this information to the women in your life. Family, friends, co-workers, etc. I cannot stress how rare programs with this type of knowledge, experience, and training exists.
