It actually makes a little since. Mainly if for some reason our “Big 3” are not available and totally healthy. We would be depending on Hill(2nd year), Blair(rookie) and maybe Ian (plays like rookie) to take up slack.

Going for "50"

The Spurs’ average age of 27.6 ties the L.A. Lakers and trails four other title contenders.

Oh God no! That means were old. Oh well, at least we’re still better looking. :)

When Bucks’ G.M. John Hammond bought out the expiring contracts of Bowen and Oberto, freeing them to re-sign with the Spurs, Buford and Gregg Popovich passed.

Damn – is this true? Could we have gotten Fab back? I assumed he had been traded by the Bucks.

Bucks trade Fab to the Pistons, who bought him out. Reporting at the time said the Spurs planned to sign him back. Either the reporting was wrong or getting DeJuan in the draft changed things.

I still wish the Spurs could have gotten Fab back somehow, fouls and all. I can’t help but imagine what DeJuan Blair could have learned from Fab’s veteran savvy and “corporate knowledge”.

Of course, would BLAAAAAIIR be getting the kind of playing time he has this regular season, if Fab was on the roster? Or would Fab have been given the same treatment Youngevity was?

...!!

Malik Hairston does good things every time he plays, but how can Popovich expect a year old to deliver on the NBA’s biggest stage

I didn’t know Malik was that young. Pop must be completely out of his mind to play a baby.

We should start rebuilding around Durant

He’s one helluva man-child, though. It’s hard to argue with that. Imagine his game once he gets more experience.

In 20 years he’ll start drinking legally and will be a top prospect.

in that case, he’ll be ready for prime time in 40 years for the Spurs.

GTFOML!

I wouldn’t say so. I mean, if this doesn’t suggest a youth movement, I don’t know what does.
