I wonder if the Spurs will re-sign Temple to another 10-day contract. According to the article, his current stint is up on Tuesday.

Of the two, I thought Jackson had a better shot at finishing out the season, especially with Tony’s injury. I’d be surprised if they resigned Temple. I wonder if the Spurs will bring in a big for the next ten day contract.

I agree. Jackson certainly seemed to be a better fit from what we’ve seen. I don’t know what bigs are available, but I feel like we’re better with a back-up PG for right now. Either way, we need to to have a 13th man, but I don’t think Temple should be that man.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jerrells next. The best other good D-League PG they haven’t looked at yet was Shakur, and he got called up to the Thunder last week.

I think they know what Jerrells can do in their system. The same with Jones. I think they are going to try guys from other D-League teams so they can look beyond the scope of their system so they can bring in more variety this upcoming summer.

I think both Temple and Jackson will be there in the summer.

This doesn’t mean that Spurs don’t like him. They probably saw all they needed to see to decide whether they want to bring him back in the summer. I have a hard time believing he didn’t make the cut in his work.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see another guy come up and Temple dropped (unless they see something so special, they don’t want to leave him free for others to pick up.
