Allen Iverson is leaving the Philadephia Sixers again. He was immedilately offered a starting position on the San Antonio Spurs as his team first attitude is a perfect fit for the Spurs organization. However, Iverson's agent - G. StTown - turned down the offer, saying "No true superstar wants to play for coach Popovich, as Popovich is old and senile and will be fired any day now by both himself and R.C.Buford.

Haha, I hadn’t clicked on it ’til I saw a comment. Now I wish I had seen this earlier.

This really is an incredible FanShot. Knocked it out of the park.

We really dodged a bullet there. Imagine if we had brought a guy over who was way overpaid and didn’t contribute anything.

Or even worse, if we had traded away some much needed height for him. Good thing we don’t do things like that.

I am semi-convinced he is a troll. No way someone is unintentionally that inflammatory.

I havent participated in the blogoverse that long but is it possible that a troll is that persistent? Seriously?

This argument almost deserves its own thread.

Not really an argument. Thinking it through, LE is correct – a troll usually just throws the bomb and leaves. GT is pretty consistent and persistent in his/her thinking.

Thanks for the laugh, Tim.

Also, I wonder why he’s on ST. Did Ballhog get banned from 48MoH?

I cruised by there for a look. Ballhog has been getting more careful and reasonable in posts over time (though not less persistent), so either he/she is learning how to be more diplomatic (relatively speaking) or someone at 48moh had a chat with him/her about it.

by swgeek on Mar 5, 2010 5:18 PM CST up reply actions

BTW, there was a 48MOH thread with both Ballhog and GT the other day.

Wow. I was convinced they are they same person. It still could be the same person, I am pretty sure that the person has more than one alias anyway.

Random update on Iversion:

I do feel sorry for him, but not as much as I would for a player where the problems were not self-imposed.
