St. Patty's Day Shot Chart
Having recently enjoyed Wayne's article on his new ATS Expected Field Goal Percentage and after reading a couple of BlaseE's solid posts here and here, I thought it was time for a shot chart that PtR'ers and spring breakers alike could enjoy. This chart will make clear that stats don't lie. If you can't handle a shot, don't take it and if you have taken enough you should know what you can and cannot handle. So without further ado here is your St. Patty's Day Shot Chart:
I know there are a lot of people learning this chart this week.
Further I think the next chart will prove to be even more informative. As you will see it's not only makes clear what works, but it has many different options. The key is to read the chart in such a way that in not only informs but helps you feel better. Do as it suggests and take your best shot. Chart 2:
I think we can all learn from this
This chart shows how getting college players can really help your ability to take and make shots. Your productivity might deep slightly, but at least the shots will be there. Chart 3:
Ahh, education...does the body good...or something like that
Practice is a key. You'll need to spend countless hours honing your skills in order to make the shots you take. Here's a shot taking mechanism to help make sure your shot is a successful one:
Aim small miss small
Lastly I want to leave you with a reminder of why you should be careful when taking shots...
You could end up looking like the guy on the left...doing a double fist pump while smashed isn't easy.
Have a great St. Patrick's Day everybody and Go Spurs Go!
