Even Monroe doesn't know that Tiago's team changed its name.

Trouble is, even that amount likely won't pry him out of Spain. That's because the prospect of an NBA lockout that could wipe out the entire 2011-12 season is enough to make any player making mega-Euros think twice about bolting for the NBA. Splitter's deal reportedly is worth more than $5 million.

The article then goes on with some wild speculation about a sign-and-trade involving Chris Bosh, but the Spurs wouldn't end up with him. Yikes.

This sucks. The NBA needs to do something about these foreign players and the rookie scale. If the Spurs had Splitter the last couple of years there’s no telling how different things would be.

if ever we can’t get tiago, his rights for bosh and maybe a bogns-mason would do…so that in the free agency we could sign raja and another defensive sf/sg guy… i mean maybe tiago’s rights and mase would do right?(if we retain keith) so that our sf/sg are defensive guys that can shoot threes.
