Combining for Zero
Usually I am a positive person who prefers to take the "glass is half full" outlook on life. However, when I read quotes like this (on mysantanio.com) about yesterday's game against the Knicks, it makes me mad:
"The Spurs' bench misses this Ginobili. The reserves accounted for 16 points Wednesday, with Richard Jefferson and Roger Mason Jr. combining for zero."
Really, zero points against the Knicks?!? My rec league basketball team plays great defence compared to the Knicks! Arg!
All I can say is thank goodness for Manu! See - I ended on a positive note.

So all we need is for Manu to start and for Manu to come off the bench.
To serve man.
Gustatus similis pullus.
That would be awesome… I’m assuming the Spurs already hold their draft rights ;)

He just simply makes everyone around him better. He was on the court a lot last night with both RJ and RMJ, (I haven’t looked closely at the play by play to see how long) and early in the game seemed to try to get the ball to Mason for a shot – but RMJ missed the attempts or chose to dribble instead of shoot.
he doesn’t hold his tongue out anymore.
GTFOML!

He hasn’t tweeted since yesterday either. That last shot attempt he took, or something he did, spoke volumes about the guy completely losing his confidence yesterday night. I don’t think Pop put him back in the game after that.
He hasn’t tweeted because Hairston seemed to have passed him in the rotation. Probably not a fun time for Mr. Mason.

It was only one quarter. I don’t know if we can conclude that. I don’t remember what he did, but it was obvious to one and all that Mason won’t be doing anything constructive yesterday night.
Or are you saying this from having listened to Pop’s practice interview? I haven’t seen it yet.
