Best of luck to Finley - a picture gallery of #4

Michael Finley is a classy guy.
Here's his post on Twitter this afternoon:
"To all my spurs fans, thanks 4 the luv the 4+ yrs I was representing the great city of SA. Your respect for me and what I brought to the team is greatly appreciated. Altho my time here as a player has ended, I know one place I can always call home. The team is still a gd 1, and one u should continue to support on their quest for a title. Peace & Blessings!!! Bye Spurs Bye!!!!!"
Manu's Tweet in tribute to Fin:
"Mike Finley is not gonna be w/us anymore. Wishing good luck to 1 of the best teammates I've ever had. We'll miss him. "
Here's a few photos of Finley over the last two seasons.
Tim and Fin had a strange pre-game superstition going for a while - face each other and move our feet.

Haha, that picture where he’s stretching to the floor between his legs is kinda strange. I’m going to miss the Finster.

Really? That’s hilarious. Did he just kind of squat down into that position?

He and Tim would stand about 8 feet apart in front of the bench and point their toes to the front and sides while facing each other. Then he would bend low to stretch. They didn’t really look at each other, but watched each other’s feet, and no one got in between them while they did this. Duncan has all kinds of pregame rituals.
Gonna miss zombie. Who’s the oldest Spur now?

Dyess, of course. I think our average age is down to 27.5 or something like that.

There was a time when it seemed like our front office made moves to keep Manu happy (very wise by the way). Now it seems like they’re just doing things left and right to piss Manu off.

Good Luck to the Fin
I hope he latches on to another good team. He just didn’t have it this year. He had trouble with his lateral defensive movement, and he lost two or three inches of hop on his jump shot. It probably accounts for the failure to hit the perimeter shot this year. The early injury may have had a lot to do with both problems. At age 37 it will be hard for him to get back into good enough shape to be a contributing factor, but I still hope a team picks him. Remember Finley was the one who requested to buy out his contract. He’s a three and that means he would have to continue playing behind Ginobli, Hill, Jefferson and maybe Hairston and for that matter even Bogan, who doesn’t shoot well, but plays decent defense. That brings the Spurs down to 12 and I think the league requires 13. Hope SA can find another big to help on the boards.
Good luck in, ugh, Boston
Well, at least he’s not a Laker.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you're a mile away AND you have their shoes.
Small favors, eh?
