Is it time to start trash talking yet?

Now you’re just being mean. And I’ve refrained from wishing harm on any of the Lakers this year. PPBBTT!

Olf, can you call for Pop to be fired? Please? Just do it a couple of times.

I acknowledge that it is pure trash talk. But is there no appreciation for the artistry involved? I thought it was a very novel approach.

I work with a kid that is a Nuggets fan, I know, unheard of here in the SA area. Told him today I was pulling for his team but not to read too much into it. I pull for anyone playing the Lakers!

Then later I talked to a guy with his little girl(about 18 months old) , and asked the girl if she was a Spurs fan. Oh no, daddy says, we’re Laker fans. I told him he might be but baby girl might be a Spurs fan, she looked pretty smart to me!

Timmy D .... enough said.

18 mos old, what a shame to taint them so early.

No, LE. It was Duncan, Manu. Mambo, mambo.

I’ll bet Manu can Mambo quite well, but I’d be surprised if Timmeh could.

I think that’s the best compliment JRW is capable of. A plus FIVE? Lucky you, 4Him.

Hmmm. So you’d put “plus five” over a “JTU”, or “rec’d and JRW approved”?

Interesting. That’s not quite how I’d stack them up.

Just viewed the clip. Now I have to go chase bats and awaken Count Dracula.

just having fun...

You got to admit that the animation is more effective than just reading the same words in a post. (Although it does worry me that CapHill doesn’t appreciate it. She usually has the most easygoing sense of humor round here.)

I realize that it is difficult for those still bound to text based trash talking to recognize and appreciate a newfangled approach. But we innovative, pioneering artists are used to being under appreciated.

Actually, despite what I wrote, I couldn’t help laughing while viewing it, especially the little dance/shimmy. It is a newfangled approach to trash talking, but I didn’t want to give you too much credit. And why bother trash talking us? Shouldn’t you be more worried about the Nuggies?

by CapHill on Feb 28, 2010 12:17 PM CST up reply actions

Hm? Preoccupied with bats?

I suppose I am, a little.

Hilariously maladjusted. But for all the right reasons.

I’m not ashamed to say that you frighten me a little bit.

Not too much, though. Enough to make the adrenaline kick in, but not so much to overcome the curiosity.

He looks like one of those guys from the Blue Oyster Bar in Police Academy.

He was just one of the few available characters who was wearing Spurs colors. Plus his glasses meant you didn’t have to worry about facial expressions. (Yes I am lazy.)

Would he like to dance like they do at the Blue Oyster Bar? Don’t know. You’d have to ask him.
