Do you like this story?

yeah specially the text book execution
"He was just a young skinny guy who looked like a winner. We didn’t know he was going to be as good as he is."
—Popovich on Manu Ginobli
Were we… double-teaming Ben Wallace there? BEN WALLACE?
Fire Pop from the Spurs! Fire Bonner from basketball! Fire your mother from child-rearing!
Rage attacking the basket and gets fouled
If you liked it then you should have put a 5th ring on it. Oh oh oh.
Why couldn’t he be aggressive often like that?

Goddamit, they’re scoring on us whenever and however they want to. Hill on Prince? Are you kidding me?
by silverandblack_davis on Feb 21, 2010 6:41 PM CST reply actions
So Bonner is out of the rotation?
"He was just a young skinny guy who looked like a winner. We didn’t know he was going to be as good as he is."

just enough to lose, Pop isn’t picky.

How the hell do they change the scoreboard so quickly after a made shot?

Why why why are we playing Bogans big minutes and keep Blair’s ass glued to the bench?
by silverandblack_davis on Feb 21, 2010 6:54 PM CST reply actions
Effing really stupid Rage….How much do you have to earn to learn to pass ahead for clear path foul or frigging basket!!! I give up.
Last play...
not RJ’s fault. Mcdyess either should have stayed with the screen or slipped out of it earlier. RJ got it in a bad situation.
LOL!!!
-Dejuan Blair
Agreed. And it would’ve been nice if Blair set that pick instead of Dice, but hey, kudos to Pistons D for disrupting the play.
by silverandblack_davis on Feb 21, 2010 7:01 PM CST up reply actions
yeah. i dont know why we were having Mcdyess setting the picks on the last couple plays. He should be floating back to the top of the key for his jumper during the play. or running a pick and pop like bonner does.
LOL!!!

I hadn’t realized Bonner is not playing. Seriously Pop, what gives? How many ppl do we pay on our roster to not play.
Bonner plays, people complain. Bonner doesn’t play, people complain.
I guess the only way to win with the fans is… winning.
Bone breaking? -340
Dunkin' Cheerleaders
No, Pop is the reason we lose. You must be an idiot if you can’t see that.
Fire Pop from the Spurs! Fire Bonner from basketball! Fire your mother from child-rearing!
Maybe he’s trying to settle on a short rotation?

Yeah, let’s leave a noted 3-point shooter have 3 seconds to shoot after catching.

I mean yeah sometimes you gotta, but sometimes I think we need to play through it, to give our guys a chance to show some strength.
we have no strength to show.

It’s intentional. He doesn’t want Pop to look good, because no good player would ever want to play for Pop.

i dont think that makes a difference. he’s still playing starters minutes. We were tied at halftime. We just need someone other than RJ or Bogans to get more playing time.

it makes a difference, the spurs are getting to slow starts and we are playing catch up most of the game

You’d think with us getting murdered on the boards the whole game (against this small Pistons team, no less), we’d put in a rebounder. That means Blair.
I’ve been saying it for a while now.
But Mason still hasn’t shown any reason why he should be given any more minutes.
He sucks less than Bogans?

not calling him a ballhog just saying that the plays were drawn for him. And i’m not saying Manu isnt important- just that Hill is more effecient.

by SpursfanSteve on Feb 21, 2010 8:07 PM CST up reply actions
I love Hill, I really do. But he’s not a good passer, and he scores a lot in fast break situations that don’t occur in OT or late in the 4th.
Bone breaking? -340

I think his passing is almost as good as Manu’s, although not as flashy. Manu might have a slight edge, but George lacks turnovers.

That’s crazy talk. Hill’s passes are much safer ones, so he has fewer turnovers. But they also don’t lead to points as much (today was the exception).
