Bench Jefferson and start, I dunno, any member of BAM:
- Why not go super-sized with a front-court of Ratliff, Duncan and Dice? Dice at the top of the key, TD on the low block and Ratliff defending the rim from the weak-side. Where’s the harm in trying?
- Start Finley or Mason. Give TD and Parker another long-range weapon in the corner or on the wings
I’d just like to see any combination that results with Jefferson being on the floor with neither Tony or Timmy. Something …ANYTHING to get the man into the mindset that he needs to be aggressive and score.
...!!
I agree with this and also the Spurs should activate and start Hairston and bench RJ, they need to start developing him especially for next year because we need to sign Manu and the MLE is for Splitter so we got no money to sign anybody.
"He was just a young skinny guy who looked like a winner. We didn’t know he was going to be as good as he is."
—Popovich on Manu Ginobli
Is Splitter entitled to the MLE? He’s technically a rookie I wouldn’t think he would still be under a rookie contract.
As of this coming offseason, the Spurs are no longer limited to offering him a rookie-scale contract. Which coincides with Splitter’s window for a buyout with Caja. Although, depending on how the Spurs finish the season, he may not even want to come play for us.
Don't compare RJ to Sean unless he's coming up clutch while playing with a failing kidney.
