in response to being down by 9 isn’t so bad – why can’t we be up by 9? for the past 5 or 6 games now we have kept it close, where before we were blowing teams out. one of these games we won’t be able to come back from a big deficit, which is why we should play better in the 1st half.
"this shit's chess, it ain't checkers."
-denzel washington, training day
We need a good third quarter. And a DAMN good half time fish.
"I've got Tim (Duncan) and you don't. That's the difference." -Gregg Popovich
Spurs are 8-2 when trailing at the half

I like to think the dark band across the eyes is a scar the fish got in a bar fight because his whore girlfriend was flirting with some fish dude and he got all jealous and they got in a fight and he got cut with glass. They have a very unhealthy relationship.

Did anyone see Dwight celebrating on the sideline like he won a championship? Damn makes me want to beat this Magic team so bad now.
In that sense, he’s no different from Mr. “What A Dick”. Up by 20, he acts like he’s invincible. Down by 3 in a big game, he acts tight.
Ah, Cleveland and Seattle. Two major cities locked in an eternal epic struggle to determine who's more tortured in sports. Due to the WNBA Champion Seattle Storm, Cleveland is starting to get the upper hand.

Magic’s FG % at 66%? Insane. Even worse, 62.5% from behind the three point line. Those numbers have to come down (thru defense) if the Spurs are going to catch up.
They're not your pop's Spurs... they're Pop's Spurs 2.0!!!

Reminds me of Game 3 of 2009 Finals. 75% shooting during the 1st half by ORL.

they shot lights out during the 2009 conference finals and we choked so badly against them. The bitter taste may never go away.

We could have used a better coach too. I wish Mike Brown hadn’t won COTY. Then we could have fired him sooner.

Or the Cavs could have relegated him to an Assistant Coach position. He’s still a pretty decent defensive coach.

I dunno I feel like against this new Orlando team, with Timmy and Tony doing their thing, and if Manu can find enough energy left in his legs, plus a couple random NEEEEEAL!!‘s and BONNNERR!!’s… we can do this.
I know we’ve got it in us. But this Orlando team looks perfectly capable of dropping an 8-0 run on us out of the gate, which will put it pretty far out of reach…
The starters v. starters to start the third will be huge. Think it’s Blair again?

Lesser Flamingo (Phoenicopterus minor)
The Lesser Flamingo has with pink eyes. This flamingo bird is not an exotic bird such as the pink flamingos and of course they are not as brightly coloured as the Caribbean flamingos. These lesser flamingo birds have much lighter pink feathers with black feathers on their wings. Of the four known species of flamingo birds, Lesser Flamingos are the smallest smallest of all other species. Nonetheless, lesser flamingos are quite attractive birds to look and like all flamingo birds they have long legs.

I’m nervous for the start of the second half. But I can’t wait.
These first 3-4 minutes are big. If we hang in their, and at least don’t let the deficit get worse, we can do it.
If we let it get worse this first few minutes, it might get out of reach.

yeah. Howard’s offensive game has came along way. Tiago is playing decent defense and he is just playing better offense
