It seemed to me that the Zenmeister threw up his hands after the Lakers-Suns game and basically said "What can you do when they shoot like that (22-40 from behind the arc)?" After watching this video, I concluded that his team didn't do nearly enough. In most cases, the Suns didn't even have to make the extra pass, as the close-out defenders were either too slow getting to their man, or made half-hearted attempts to bother the shooters when they did get back in time. In some cases, there wasn't a defender within 5 feet of the open shooter. It's truly shocking evidence of defensive ineptitude and/or inattention.
