Great comeback tonight. Take the second half in isolation, and it’s almost as good as this team can possibly play.
It’s been fun, but if I’m seeing HP at midnight tomorrow, I better get some sleep while I can. Later!

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Certainly nothing that length last season. So at least ‘08-’09 if not the season prior.
Thank you SF Giants for an incredible 2010 season and painting the City orange & black!
You gotta bring ass to get ass.
I think the longest last season was 5? I’m pretty sure we didn’t have 8 in 08-09. I think it might’ve been 07-08.

Epic game thread. I didn’t join since the second half was going well and needed no alterations.
Rose can be scary good. Manu is beautifully great. And this team has multiple ways to attack and respond.

Because (surprise) they’re an old team. Except they’re not really anymore. yet Boston is but he placed them in the elite. Playing in the East. Weak talking head.

I like the way these Spurs come out of the locker room at half-time. Very tough D leading to big runs.
I’m still blaming A-Train for jinxing their FT % tonight.

I’ll share some blame. I was pretty “glass half-empty” early on.

I take full blame and credit. I started watching the game at half.

Does anyone else think it’s interesting that the Bulls won the scoring battle in every quarter except the 3rd, yet they still lost?

Dang, I feel bad for being mostly MIA now. I had scheduled a workout with a friend and did not want to back out. The interesting part is that she wanted to do a zumba class as well, so we did. Fun stuff, but sometimes complicated.
Lauri: thank goodness I have you magnificent bastards to waste [the offseason] with.
Needless to say, the computer was being bogarted. Since it was a national TV game, this was OK, but next time…

When you like a comment, click on “actions” to the right of “reply” to “Rec” or recommend it. When a comments receives 3 rec’s, then it turns green to stand out.
The point with intangibles is that no one can see them.
Congratulations on your first greening!

From the Yahoo recap:
The Spurs won their eighth straight and improved to 9-1, tying a franchise-best start that even Tim Duncan never saw during any of the four championship runs for the Spurs.

Oh wow. That answers that quesion. Now, does that mean in any of the championship seasons? Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there an undefeated month one year?

The key word in the recap quote is “start”
Traditionally, the Spurs have started slowly, even in championship years. There’s something a little different about things this year…. who am I kidding? There’s a lot different about the Spurs this year…. in a good way.

Never started this good but have had higher winning percentage stretches before (I think they finished the ’04 regular season with ten straight wins then won the first six playoff games).

Way to go TP, not letting that divorce issue affect your game. Welcome back to the double-double club TD! Oh, and why did Tiago get a DNP-CD?
Yo, I’m 6-11, but I just want to dribble through my legs and shoot jumpshots like a guard. - Marc Blucas on Tim Duncan
why did Tiago get a DNP-CD?
This bugged me. A lot.
During the second quarter, when the Spurs couldn’t buy a bucket, they could’ve used some defense on the interior. Why the f*** would you not play Tiago when the guys who have been playing clearly aren’t getting it done?
It’s official. Pop is still married to Bonner.

“Ghost ship” is a good time, albeit a bit corny. (In cas anyone cares)

A “good time?”

Missed the game threads tonight. I was at the game tho.The first game I go to where Tiago can actually play Pop DNP-CD’s him WHAT THE HELL
Miserable first half, incredible 3rd, whatever 4th.
This team has potential, or they’re fooling us all.
Also George Hill was annoying me all night. Boy needs to get his game straight.
glad you had a good time at the game. See you in the next game thread?
