I’m not going to cast any aspersions against Varner, but there were a TON of 1st half shots at the rim that bounced out and jumpers that just barely clanged.

If you can make your team shoot straighter by going to the side screen, then so much the better.

I’m with you. There’s a psychological factor. But maybe getting a couple of easy buckets through good coaching can spark a run, get everyone in the right mood. Momentum and all that.

We can be a special team. I’ve never seen a spurs roster THAT flexible. We can put a lot of different lineups to match the ocassion. I like what I see so far (even if im not convinced with the defense )
