Sorry I haven't been able to get online as much (I'm taking 20 hours this semester, doing ROTC stuff, and working lol), but reading your posts has been a wonderful lift for me (especially LD's trip and the Ginobili-Dracula series). Enough about me, though, I'll get to the point after the jump.
I lied--I actually will talk about myself some more. Me and a longtime Corps buddy of mine snagged some nosebleed seats in the Toyota Center for the Feb. Spurs-rockets matchup. It's g2 be a kind of cool/weird double date--she's from Houston and bringing her San Antonian boyfriend, and I'm from SA and bringing my Houstonian girlfriend. Since it's my first away Spurs' game, I wanted to ask the veteran road warriors around here what to expect in the way of atmosphere for Spurs' road games. I know it varies a lot depending on who we're playing, but what's the general tenor? I went to a Spurs-rockets game at the AT&T Center last season and was pleasantly surprised by the affable fan relations considering it was a high-stakes rivalry game--can I expect more of the same or is there more of an edge in Houston?
Thanks! Now I gotta run to class in this crappy College Station weather, then head to the mall and get my baby girl a Trevor Ariza jersey (I told her she had to choose between him and Battier lol). If I get a red road jersey, it counts as an early Valentine's Day gift, right?
Keep me in y'all's prayers/musings/whatever goes on in those warped heads of yours!
