SBNation launches completely bad to the bone new site
Seriously, this should be your new sports reading site. No reason to visit BSPN any more. I'm not even joking.

Slick. Of course, their Bowen story isn’t exactly making me like them.

Yeah, apparently Andrew Sharp doesn’t like him. He’s probably a Suns fan or something.

Well, I’m a big fan of Bruce’s, but I found the Bowen headline funny.
and this.
ooh, this too:
But maybe this will be a wake-up call for Marbury: when Ron Artest thinks you’re acting strangely, it might be time to sit a few plays out.

I guess it was funny, but I’d hope that if SBNation is attempting to be a news source to be taken seriously that their editors treated a player who is as classy and decorated as Bruce is with respect. The general commentary and the comments are very negative like the post is supposed to be a joke. I’d expect that type of commentary in a fan forum of an opponents team, not from a news editor.
Btw, Sharp is a Wizards fan. Not a Suns fan. My apologies to BSotS.

You mean this wasn’t supposed to be anything like The Onion?

You mean the people who don’t like defense and prefer having fun to winning? Oh wait, is that the rest of the world or just Steve Nash?

By the rest fo the world?
Not true. The only people that dislike Bowen root for teams that lost to the Spurs in ‘03, ’05, and ’07. Oh, I guess you’re right. That would be the rest of the world.

I can learn to love this new look.
A new looking SBN for our new look Spurs! Well, kinda. I do like how they’ve broken the blogs down by division, and Eastern/Western Conference. Now if only they ould find some nifty way to rig it according to the current standings— our Spurs are currently at the bottom. I’m thinking too much here.

Huh… it kinda has an ESPN feel to it. Feels a bit cluttered when they put short paragraphs beneath the headline articles. I’ll probably take some time to look at it later.

This thing is starting to take off, do we get shares or something when it goes public?

Pretty badass. Maybe in the future it’ll replace other sports sites – if they get good writers, at least.

I’m getting way too many 404 errors when trying to follow the links on the site.
Annoying.

“Sorry sports fans! There seems to be a little bit of a problem…” blah blah blah. I hate it when I get that.
