Are you referring to the 2 PPG or the 2 RPG? It couldn’t have been the 0 APG, right?

Major League
Yeah, I suddenly feel like I’m in that movie Major League:
Who are these &@%$ing guys????

OMG we got D-Wade?? Oh… it’s “Dwayne”, not “Dwyane”. Whatever.

Oh. My. God. I think I’ve been living under a rock (that’s being pounded).
Today is the first time I’ve ever heard, read, or noticed that Wade’s first name is spelled “Dwyane.” You indeed learn something new everyday.

Jerrells and Jones Signings
Neither of these two will make the roster, but they both will get the offer to play for the Toros. The fact that they got non-guaranteed contracts and accompanying invites to attend the training camp is smart. There are at least two or three players on the existing roster who have a maximum of two years left on their career. These guys, if they do well at the camp and sign to play for the Toros will be ready or action as replacements in case of injury or retirement. Its called looking ahead and planning for the future. Having the Toros D-League is like having a 30 man roster instead of just a 15. While in Austin the players learn Pop’s system and if get a achance to prove themselves capable of NBA level play then its a pretty smart move on their part. Remember their are quite a few experienced NBA role players looking for a job right now. Jack McClinton is going to find that out real soon. I wish him the best, but if he doesn’t latch on somewhere or get a decent European offer, signing on with the Toros isn’t such a bad idea. The Toros are going to be pretty competitive this season.
