Around SBN: Miikka Kiprusoff Wins 300th Game, Buffalo Crushes Boston

I would say SA is like a 1% chance, but it is interesting nonetheless. I'll always root for Capt. Jack when he isn't playing the Spurs.

Hmm. Yea. Id say Slim to none.

Captain Jack signed a 28 milion dollar contract extension last year. I dont think Pop and company would muck up potentially resigning Manu and or Signing Splitter next season to land Captain Jack…

It would cost us some combination of Bonner/Mason/Finley at the minimum. That would also cost us roster flexibility to make trades at the trade deadline since those are our major (expiring contract) bargaining chips.

I agree, the Jefferson trade already puts the team over the tax and it would be tough to resign Manu if they took on his contract. The Spurs would have had a hell of a squad with him though

Hopefully Dallas and Houston feel the same way.

Yeah, I’d rather not see him in Dallas or Houston. The only way it works for Houston is if they can move McGrady and I don’t think GS is that stupid or that desperate.

TMac is perfect for Nellieball. Then again, so is Capt Jack.

“I’m just looking to go somewhere where I can go and win a championship,” Jackson said.

Didn’t you get that out of the way already, Jack…before you took the money and ran?

He probably wants to be in New York in time for lebrons arrival next year

Good call….hence the reason Cleveland is also on his list this year (Shaq, Lebron, 66 wins and falling short last year)…

We can try it: Mason and Bonner for S.Jackson

But I just really hope that he doesn’t end up in Dallas.

Captain Jack to San Antonio is intriguing… but we are over the cap. plus i wouldn’t give up Mason to get him….
