People are always looking for the next (fill in the blank). Great players don’t have equals. There hasn’t been another Magic, there hasn’t been another Bird, and there will never be another Jordan. Love might end up being the best American caucasian, but the author is right, his game is McHale-like. In fact, I can’t think of another player right now who has a similar game to Bird.
