[I had actually drafted this post awhile ago, forgot about it, thought I'd accidentally deleted it, but later rediscovered it. In light of the recent TrueHoop article, I thought I'd give it a post.]

Is it wrong to like more than one team? I don't think so. I think it's ok to pull for a few teams. For me, obviously, my favorite team is the Spurs. But if the Spurs are not playing in the game I'm watching, or I miss the game due to location, I'll pick the lesser of the two evils. (League Pass, here I come!)

There are certainly a few teams that I absolutely refuse to root for - no exceptions. Well, now that I think about it there is actually just one. I had to drum up a few scenarios in my head (i.e. if 'Franchise X' were playing the Wizards, Clippers, Bucks or Timberwolves, I'd be a Bucks fan for a day!). I also need to figure out if the outcome of the game will affect the Spurs in both the Southwest and Western Conference standings. That will affect which team gets my support.  

But let's get to the point. Which NBA franchise is your second favorite, and why? The Spurs are an option too! There can be any number of reasons. Are they your home team? Do they have an organization or a winning (or losing) tradition unlike any other team that you just cannot help but admire? Maybe your favorite player(s) growing up played for them? Or maybe they are the bitter rival of the team you despise the most (Yankees/Red Sox, Cubs/White Sox, Bears/Packers, Lakers/Celtics). Heck, maybe you just think they have a neat looking logo! The choice is yours, my friends. I've listed them alphabetically by division.
