Spurchief gets owned. I would have said the same thing before I read this post. Maybe Haywood is better than we think.

I like the way this guy presents his case, but if you look at the way he sums it up he’s basically saying, Haywood had one good year and could be a top center.
What this post indicates is that Haywood, especially in a contract year, really has a chance to cement himself as a top-tier NBA center; one of the top five in the Eastern Conference as I’ve been touting. And by my calculations, Haywood would start for half the teams in the league.
I think this speaks more to the sad lack of depth at the center position in the NBA rather than to how good Haywood is.
