I voted Jordan Hill because I’m also a knicks fan (live in Queens). Scratch that, I’m more of a knicks observer at this point. I don’t go out of my way to learn about their offseason, development or progress as much as I do with the Spurs. Which is why I don’t know anything about Jordan Hill, which I would look like to know a bit.

I’m not really a baseball fan. If I had to pick though, I usually pick the yankees to bust some of my friend’s chops or anyone around me for that matter. But it’s usually not because I like them more than the mets, but because I prefer to annoy others (of my friends who do like baseball, most are mets fans).

well i’m 21, so yaaayy! We can go bar hopping and trying to pick up chicks. We need an opening line. I think we should approach them and say “Hey are you a cheerleader with an affinity for dunking a basketball by any chance? What? You’re not? Well, wanna help contribute to some Argentine’s blog?”
Sure it wouldn’t work as well other opening lines I’ve used (but it won’t be too far off either, but it’d be somewhat funny as a PtR inside joke. It would be fun, unless of course you’re too much of age. jk, it’d be fun regardless.

I hope that’s the way LatinD picks up chicks, that would be so cool. Of course, he doesn’t need to do be doing that. I imagine LatinD picking up chicks in two way. He takes some toothpicks and gum from his mouth while in a bar and begins connecting them until he builds:

  • a bridge. He then places one end of the bridge in front of him, and walks up to a girl and does the same to her. He then says, “I feel we need to connect more”.
  • a dam. He then walks up to a girl and says " This is what I thought when I first saw you, DAAAMN!"

Sure man, we should meet up sometime. At least when the Knicks (or Nets) are playing the Spurs. That would be totally awesome.

The second one doesn’t translate well into Spanish, but I’m so using it when I hit Texas.

yeah, I figured you would catch me on that one. Well you can speak english, that alone should help you with the argentine ladies. Just say random stuff to them in a serious manner since they won’t know what you’re saying, Then just say something nice when they ask to translate.
“I peed on my bed until I was 12”
“Oooh! Hablas ingles? Que acabas de decir?”
“Dije que tu haces que ese vestido se vea tan bello.

It kinda reads like “LatinD is pathetic, but even he wouldn’t stoop to that level” – or it could mean “it’s LatinD’s blog, but even he wouldn’t use it for that”. I’m just poking fun at the first interpretation. Ignore me at will. :)

i just voted for him. he was the one guy in the draft that best fit what the spurs really need – if you ask me. he’s tough, will play strong D, will block shots and will rebound. not that i’m unhappy with what the spurs got in the draft, but gibson was the one guy coming out of the college ranks that had spurs written all over him.

my bet is that nobody in the summer league will be working harder than taj gibson. but alas, i may never know if i am right about this……

I never thought of it that way

but now that you mention it, Taj would have made an excellent Spur. – Elgin

I voted for Austin Daye. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for Detroit, and the short snippets i’ve heard about him from Henry Abbot at True Hoop have intrigued me. I’m against Brandon Jennings, only because I can read about him at any one of 3,928,394,283 places.

Bayless

Best prospect on the best western conference team of the players you mentioned

Did we really just add a player good enough to be guarded by Bruce Bowen?
