Rash-no
Alright, so there's been some discussion on bringing back Rasho Nesterovic. I cannot believe that this is even an option. Do we not remember the days of Rasho getting blown by anybody that can dribble? Do we not remember him getting out-rebounded by much quicker players? Look, he's got a good jump shot and he's fairly good at on ball defending. He's serviceable at passing also. Let me remind you folks of another player that fits this bill, Fabrico Oberto.
Weren't we all complaining about the lack of athleticism during this last playoff "run"? Why would we want to bring in a guy who's less athletic than Matt Bonner? I want to see a big man who can move and complement Timmeh, not one who Duncan has to cover. Not to mention, do we want to see Rasho as our 5 for 3 years? Not I. So thanks, but no thanks to Rasho.
This is scary

It’s “herbal,” so you know Rasheed will like it.

If better options go elsewhere and he signs for one year at the veteran’s minimum I’d live with it. The Spurs will need space to resign Manu and possible bring over Splitter next season. Then if any of the young guys steps up Pop can always choose to bench him.

Sure, he's less athletic than Bonner
But his defense is way better.

We are not comparing him to Bonner. We are comparing him to the rest of the FA’s out there. He doesn’t stack up to those guys.
