Jack McClinton, welcome to San Antonio

Once again the Spurs have struck gold with Dejuan Blair. There is also another pick that may be able to help us out. Jack McClinton, drafted 51 overall. This guy was a steal for us. He was projected on Draft Express as the 29 pick in the draft. He was one of the best shooters in college. He could especially shoot the 3 well. He led the ACC in 3 point shooting. He was 6 in the NCAA league. He could also shoot free throws. He has a career average of .900 free throw percentage. He get his shot off quick too.

Jack has a sweet stepback jumper too. He can make it with a hand in his face. I believe he could play an Eddie house like role. Maybe we can put Roger as back up SF for RJ. Then have McClinton at starting guard with Manu coming of the bench. With the big three causing double team he can be a knockdown 3 point shooter. Even more so now with RJ comign to town. During a media interview Buford said "the best defender we worked out". I know Pop loves a good defensive player. I think he well show us what he can really do come summer league.
